Shipping Dice Roller Pro 1.6: Build and Analyze Dice Expressions Visually

Dice Roller Pro has grown from a dice-notation parser into a full authoring and analysis toolkit. This update brings the expression builder closer to the way people actually build rolls: by combining dice, groups, arithmetic, and functions.

Compose complete rolls

The visual Expression Builder now supports all five dice atoms: normal, percentile, Fate, custom-face, and number values. It also handles nested groups, sequences, and math functions. Reorder terms, group selected terms, import an expression into the form, and see canonical notation update as you edit.

When you’re happy with a roll, test it with a seed or save it as a ScriptableObject asset. Composite expressions save their children as sub-assets, keeping the authored roll tree together.

Explore the odds and the result

The Probability Analyzer runs Monte Carlo simulations and reports distributions, summary statistics, confidence intervals, and side-by-side comparisons. Roll previews and the expression builder help you inspect an expression before adding it to a project.

Underneath the editor tools, the library supports advanced notation such as rerolls, exploding dice, keep/drop, success and failure counting, criticals and fumbles, clamps, sorting, math functions, and custom faces. Async and batch rolling, pluggable random sources, and running statistics help when a game needs repeatable simulations or larger samples.

The update also strengthens saved dice assets: comparator-based modifiers now survive Unity serialization, and the expression editor avoids modifying shared parser-cache results.
